THIRSK YOUTH DANCE COMPANY IS BACK!
Are you aged 9-16yrs? Love to dance & be creative? Thirsk Youth Dance is led by professional dance artist, no previous dance experience is needed, our environment is fun, supportive & inspiring. Be part of our dance company, youth-led we bring together your creative ideas to make new dance work that we then perfrom informally at inspiring youth dance events in West & North Yorkshire. PERFORMANCE TRIP OPPORTUNITY ON 19 MARCH...
On Sat 19th March, we are pleased to announce our performance trip.
We will be performing at Northern School Contemporary Dance's beautiful Riley Theatre stage, along side other youth groups in their community dance platform. Details such as times, travel & ticket bookings for family members will be given soon as soon as we receive them.
The platform is a friendly, supportive, non competitive event & a chance to share our new piece we make to family, friends and other community groups! Katy trained at Northern School for 6years (degree/masters) & has performed in this theatre many times, when starting her dance journey back in high school & while on tour as a professional. We hope you can make it, as it will be a very inspiring experience for all & we finally can't wait to safely have a performance trip again after the last couple of years.
